About the book:
McFly are without doubt one of Britain's best-loved bands. Over the course of their nine-year career, Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter have amassed an astonishing seven No 1 singles and three No 1 albums. If that wasn't confirmation enough of their popularity, at the end of 2011, Harry waltzed off with the coveted Strictly Come Dancing trophy while Dougie was crowned King of the Jungle in I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! Now, at last, the boys have decided to tell their own true stories - in full and revealing detail.
Success came quickly for McFly when their first album debuted at No 1. Just teenagers at the time, they were catapulted into the limelight and had to adapt fast to their new-found fame - and everything that came with it. From living in the grungy confines of a lads' shared house in Finchley through to finding happiness with their respective long-term partners - via nearly a decade of fame, fanatical followers and just a little bit of bad behaviour - the boys are ready to shine a light on their fascinating lives.
This frank and funny insight into McFly is a must for music fans and for anyone who loves an intriguing life story told with wit and candour.
